Then
The first part opened in May 1950, and the school was officially opened on 7 June 1951 as two schools, the juniors under Mr J Embling and the infants under Miss Maiden, and the two were merged in 1969. Falling numbers closed one wing in 1982, and it then held a WRVS office, Cassio College adult education classes and practice rooms for the Falcon Marching Band before falling into disrepair. Part of it came back into use as classrooms in 1993. Every child in the school had a hand in a large wall picture painted in the junior playground in the 1990s.5,24,127,533,716
Now
It is still a primary school on Oxhey Drive, and a Sure Start children's centre was added on its site in the 2000s. The rest of the old wing was rebuilt in the refurbishment of 2005, when most of the Little Furze children transferred in. The school marked its sixtieth anniversary on 7 June 2011.
