Then

The Crescent Club, once the Services Club, was a social club in Hallowes Crescent, and work on its building began on 6 November 1971. A resident remembers having to queue for a seat at the weekend entertainment in its good years, and darts, pool and dominoes teams the club could be proud of. In its last years it kept going on private money put in by a few individuals.5,126,228

Now

The Watford Observer reported on 12 November 2010 that the club and its garages were to become four three-bedroom flats for Paradigm Housing, which called the building under-used, but by June 2012 that scheme was not going ahead. The club was demolished in September 2016 under the South Oxhey Initiative instead, and the new flats in Hallowes Crescent were finished by April 2018. The position is approximate, beside the shops.
