Then

The county's landscape study dates the lime avenue at Oxhey Warren to parkland of about 1820. By 1872 The Warren was a 53-acre pasture on the Oxhey Place home farm, and W. H. Smith had recently built a three-bedroom lodge of red brick and tiles at its gate. A small house called Oxhey Warren is named at the fork of Green Lane on maps from 1896 to the 1960s. It stood where that gate lodge would be, but no source proves it was the same building. The map revised in 1912 to 1913 prints Golf Club beside it, and a 1924 deed recorded a right of way along Green Lane to the clubhouse and to Oxhey Warren. The London County Council's compulsory purchase order of 1943 lists it as a house and garden of about a third of an acre, owned by the Blackwell trustees. On 1 July 1959, Poor But Proud says, Watford Rural District Council bought it for £2,950.13,18,20,58,59,82,90,98,126,165,170,287

Now

Three Rivers District Council's 2019 draft plan for the playing fields still used the name, placing a vehicle gate at Oxhey Warren, Green Lane. Its 2024 plan counts the tree avenue along Green Lane among what is left of the old parkland around Oxhey Place and Oxhey Warren. The site is at the edge of South Oxhey Playing Fields, and we found no date for when the house went.
