Pond Wood is a small wood at Northwick Road and Seacroft Gardens, known for old pollarded hornbeams that were still being cut in the estate's early years. A resident writing on Our Oxhey recalls early plans showing a larger pond beside it, later taken into Oxhey Wood School's field. This was probably Park Pond.5,16,165,296,703
Now
It is still mapped as woodland, and Natural England's revised list (2026) counts its 1.6 hectares as ancient woodland. In 2013 a notably old pollarded hornbeam stood at the road junction.
