The name
Ashburnham Close takes its name from Ashburnham Golf Club. J. H. Taylor laid out the present links in 1910, and Harry Vardon called it the course he liked best in Wales.

How sure we are of the match: Strong
The estate's streets were named after golf courses. The streets page explains how each match was made.
We have not yet found anything written about this street itself. If you know when it was built or who first lived there, that would help.
